I remember being cut off for a few weeks due to the #BurdekinRiver #flooding during #Monsoon season.

It hit me hard when the towns supply of #Townsville bottled #CocaCola ran out!

It was far inferior to the Brisbane bottled Coke I was used to & the Townsville stuff tasted “odd’.

Eventually trucks made it through & they had Coke onboard!

I purchased some when it became available - it was beautiful! I checked the can, “bottled in Sydney”.

I never willingly purchased the T’ville muck again.

#MacrossanBridge at #Sellheim near #ChartersTowers yesterday.

The #BurdekinRiver there is usually a trickle & a playground for 4WD users.

But - it floods & closes the bridge when there is huge rain.
