It's #BritishPieWeek and so (surprising no one) Girdy took himself off to Sabzi for a butter chicken pie and mash. Okay, not a great photo but it was a great pie!

I'm not convinced yet but this was a pretty good meal.
Filo pastry left over roast chicken pie. The chicken was cooked in the fryer on Monday (hey, I'm a pensioner, I can have my roast dinner any day i want. They're all the same to me 😀)
The filling also included left over cauliflower, fennel, chicory (cooked in the fryer) and gravy, also some shallots and carrots.
The pie was cooked in the air fryer while I boiled some potatoes. I kept the pie warm while I air fried the spuds.
It all worked pretty well.
