How wrong the #BritishLeft was about Peter Mandelson! 😮

The standard left criticism was that #Mandelson was a master of spin, devoid of even mildly social democratic principles.

But even the #PrinceOfDarkness label radically underestimated Mandy's wickedness. Lord Peter was #insiderTrading at scale, flogging commercially sensitive cabinet-level info to the world's leading nonce. Way worse than imagined.

And it's not just #ukpol. How much did he betray as #EU Trade Commissioner?

It'll be one hell of an uphill battle.

The #UnitedKingdom’s four-decade-long adherence to neoliberal economic policies has led to economic decline, #inequality, a lack of #sustainability and an underregulated #labor market.

There's potential for a leftward political shift due to public discontent and a desire for change, especially among younger generations. The left must organise, overcome internal obstacles, and seize the opportunity by offering a viable electoral option.

The paper was produced in Britain by the Irish National Liberation Solidarity Front (INLSF) in 1969, which was set up by the Communist Workers League of Britain (Marxist–Leninist) (CWLB(ML)). It ran until 1972, when the CWLB(ML) began to operate under its own name, and replaced the journal with Voice of the People.
