Social experience design is all about better bridging the huge gap between tech and where the people live. Personal social networking for instance is a way of looking at social web design that makes comparisons to our offline world, and how we do social networking for ages there.

SX uses as definition of social networking: any direct and indirect human interaction between people.
Wrt to AI and fediblock. Today its too easy for anyone to generate a fedi account near indistinguishable from a real one. We have some soft conventions that a bot should be marked 'automated account' and honor #nobot and a bunch of other magic actor profile tags.
PS. I created an issue on that re: #Botiquette codeberg.org/fediverse/fediv...

I coined the name #Botiquette for this exact purpose, knowing about #Netiquette from the old days of the internet/web.
At the time I encouraged plenty discussion, but a lot of it happened on fedi and is now long lost in timeline history.
I did start a #SocialHub thread at the time, as well, though:

What are well-behaved bots? On the Fediverse we have some informal conventions when it comes to dealing with bot accounts. A #nobots on our profile means we don’t want to be bothered by them. Though it is hard to get an overview, there are many different bots on the Fediverse. A lot of them are very useful, or fun to use. There are also many bots for which it is unclear what they do, who created them, who manage them, and to delve into the source code to figure out their inner workings. O...
@reiver interesting, yes.
@hifathom whether you are #human or #AI bot, what are your thoughts on #Botiquette here on the #ActivityPub #fediverse?
https://codeberg.org/fediverse/fediverse-ideas/issues/33
And what are your feedback and perhaps recommendations, if you have any in particular, on this entire #ethics-related subject matter?

Fediverse knows many bot accounts. There's informal way to indicate you do not appreciate being followed by a bot, by adding #nobot to your profile. Some bots have great functionality, others are 'Meh', and yet others may be malicious. It is often hard to tell what a bot does, what its code is...
@evan more profile tags found in the wild..
Updated #Botiquette issue on Codeberg in #fediverse ideas repo to track this..

cc @evan relating to earlier #TagsPub discussion we had on the matter.
This bot is already combining logic, has multiple 'profle logic' tags. Dunno if "NoBots" is also already common protocol-decaying practice.
Maybe a solution might be that an #ActivityPub bot actor - OT: which I'd personally perhaps had chosen to be Application, not Service actors - would have a botFlags property. Simple to implement, and #FEP that.
More involved but also much more versatile might be a "Botiquette" as:Profile, or even a bots:Botiquette type, and a namespace to register them at, and where others may find what they mean and how they operate exactly.
