I know it makes me a bit of an outlier as a “Catholic”-leaning #Episcopalian, but I really, deeply love the #BookOfCommonPrayer1979, especially Rite II. It’s the book that brought me to the #Episcopal #Church from my wanderings after a life in #fundamentalism and #evangelicalism. I get why folks want to change things, but I want to express my love for the book and how its words have worked their way into my very being.
