I tooted a week or so ago a pic of what I thought was my last apple tree to bloom. But I’d forgotten about this one. MΓ¨re de mΓ©nage which produces an apple perfect for the classic Apple Charlotte dessert. Chap who came to help prune was amazed the tree was still standing, let alone alive. It leans at an impossible angle and the trunk is more dead wood than live. It had a gentle prune to remove dead weight and it seems so much better for it. The bees appreciate it too πŸπŸ’š.
