#BloodMachines is the latest film from Seth Ickerman; a direct sequel to Turbo Killer. A 50-minute Synthwave scifi music video in 3 acts.
Acting: 6/10. Don't look for Oscar nominations here; weakest point of the film.
Script: 7/10. Too straightforward; wish they did more character development here; honestly I have no idea why they didn't. Maybe they ran out of budget?
Sound: 10/10.
Music: 10/10. Carpenter Brut. 'Nuff said.
Visuals/Art: Over 9000. It's a completely surreal experience. You just have to see it. Unique.
Warning: Lots of female nudity on here, but it's not sexual, more like "art after you took a few doses of LSD" kind of nudity.
Bonus points: Huge metaphor for lesbian & feminist emancipation. Men, watch out.
And if you like #Synthwave or #80s style #scifi #cyberpunk, you're absolutely going to love it.
Final score: 9/10.
