Another thing re Joy Reid: instead of saying “turn the TV off” re: MSNBC (though I’ve not watched them for MONTHS) how about saying “support BLACK-OWNED MEDIA”?
Actually you can turn away from these “legacy” media networks AND invest in and watch Black-owned media.
We MUST have broader dimensions in our strategy, messaging and execution.
What truly vexes me, Roland Martin—is in the midst of all the rightful 💯 support of Joy Reid few people if ANY, are talking about supporting Black-owned media and Black-owned media infrastructure, which if properly supported could produce and put on air a dozen or more Joy Reids. 🖤🙏🏿
