There were so many great films at #NAFF. Of the 28 offered I managed to see 22! If you are in the NYC area Film at Lincoln Center's African Film Fest is May 6-12th. Toronto Intl Film Fest #TIFF also shows some African films (Sept). There's also the Toronto Black Film Fest and next years Pan African Film Fest in Los Angeles (Feb). Check around. You might be able to catch some where you are.

Each person’s experience will vary, but I moved to Mastodon after the Twitter sale was finalized.

I can honestly say I’ve experienced much more engagement and good faith conversations on Mastodon being a Black creator than I EVER did during my 13-year tenure on Twitter.
