BillieBinary Eye (available at #fdroid) also scans codes from image files. You just have to pass the image over to #binaryeye .
So no need to scan a code displayed on your device with a 2nd device.
T_X@txt_file best to get recommendations by word of mouth in the Linux universe :-). I love #BinaryEye btw., got that recommended by @loeb. Also works great with WiFi QR codes, including WPA Enterprise (if I remember correctly).

Thanks to @loeb found out about the great #binaryeye QR code app by @markusfisch: https://github.com/markusfisch/BinaryEye. Seems to use a (more actively maintained?) port of the #ZXING library, namely #ZXING-CPP: https://github.com/zxing-cpp/zxing-cpp
On my HTC U11, Android 9, it seems to scan a #WPA Enterprise code and configure things fine (haven't tried connecting yet though). On @loeb 's phone with the same version of binary eye, but with #Android 14, it strangely seems to have difficulties with parsing/setting it though.

🏆 This week I thought I'd share my new found fondness of Binary Eye. If you want more control over the process of scanning barcodes, I can't recommended this tool enough. Very powerful and flexible!

ollibaba@genofire Genau, im Moment pack ich halt die PDFs manuell in #PassAndroid rein; aber damit die in der Übersicht sinnvoll angezeigt werden, muss ich dann händisch Titel und Datum editieren :-(
Aber trotzdem eine gute Idee: gibts schon fertige Apps, die die gängigen Matrix-Codes der Bahngesellschaften dekodieren und daraus z.B. eine #pkpass-Datei erzeugen können? #BinaryEye kann hier zumindest diverse #Aztec-Codes lesen, aber dann fehlt noch ein Parser für den ASCII-Inhalt.
