Almost every reporter and analyst has said something to the effect of "it seemed like just a normal football play/tackle" If a normal play can require #DamarHamlin to receive #CPR on the field and be put in #criticalcare then it's well past time we have a difficult discussion about #football and player safety. Replay of #MNF moment 24 yr old #BuffaloBills' safety #DamarHamlin collapses after tackle made against Cincinnati Bengals' WR Tee Higgins. Hamlin was given #CPR afterwards and an ambulance pulled onto field and rushed unconscious player to hospital with family aboard. Hamlin reportedly had a pulse but not breathing on his own and reportedly at Univ of Cincinnati hospital , intubated and in critical condition. Hamlin was proud of leading league in with tackles in his position, and had been ejected from a game by refs for a rough endzone hit he had made earlier this month.
