Morning on the River

Petaluma is located in Southern Sonoma County just north of Marin County. Since the early days Petaluma has been primarily an agricultural city although the products have shifted over time.
In the earlier days Petaluma's main name to fame was the egg industry and the Petaluma River was key to getting the products to market across the San Francisco bay to the markets in the city.

I captured this sequence starting from the cornice blast to this concluding image.
This final image is one of my favorite from this sequence as it shows some scale to the event.
The lower left is the last groomed run on the edge of the resorts.
