Yes, Joe Lycett shredded £10k OF HIS OWN MONEY (and I'm not totally comfortable with it, if I'm honest - though that's at least partly the point), but let's not forget the real issue here: David Beckham accepted about £10 million HE ABSOLUTELY DOEN'T NEED to be the propagandist of a very dodgy regime indeed.
