We are on a mission to turn everyday rubbish into resources for our ministries, and we really need your help! By saving your household recycling, you are directly supporting our Soup Kitchen, Singakwenza early childhood education, our Thank You Wardrobe, and our wheelchair drive.
Before you drop items off at the church office, please just make sure all plastics are well washed with soap.
Here is a quick checklist of the exact items we are looking for:
• For the Soup Kitchen: 500ml plastic bottles and large yoghurt containers.
• For Singakwenza Toys: Plastic bottle tops, bread bags, netlon mesh bags, toilet roll inners, magazines, 2L Coke bottles (lids off), 2L & 5L ice cream containers, flattened cereal boxes, and clean vegetable polystyrene trays (no meat trays, please!).
• For the Thank You Wardrobe: Any clothes and shoes you no longer wear.
• For Wheelchairs: Plastic bottle tops and plastic bread bag tags.
As John 6:12 reminds us, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted."
If you have any questions, feel free to pop the office an email at [email protected]. Thank you so much for helping us care for the environment while touching local lives! 🙏
