During the first 10 days in March '25, we were quite active.
I, Fiona, went to a shamanic sound healing course and built my own beautiful drum 🥰
Marc fixed the damaged bike boxes — oh, I have to tell you a story about these bike boxes: So because our boxes were damaged from all the traveling since Chile, we went in Lima to a bike shop to ask for bike boxes they would normally throw away. They had boxes to give away, but they wanted $40 and our passport number to register the sale. What??? We said NO, thanks! and ended up fixing the old boxes with cardboard, we got for free, and lots of tape—
And Marc finally found someone who could fix the problem with the Chris King hub on his bicycle, he had since almost one year.
We both planned for our next big project/adventure/chapter of life and enjoyed the city life... 😊

In the last week of February, we reached Lima, the capital of Peru. In Barranco, a very beautiful, colorful neighborhood located in the south with an ocean front, we rented a small apartment. It felt good to have a base again, and here each of us could also do something on our own - stroll through the neighborhood, discover murals and colorful houses, have coffee in one of the many charming cafes, and look out over the sea from the Malecon...
