Mermaid of the North sculpture in #Balintore, #Scotland was high on my list of things to see when we were doing the North Coast 500 road trip some years ago. I was hoping for moody weather for dramatic effect in my photos but we got mostly sunny weather throughout the trip even though it was October. 🤷🏽‍♀️ How unlucky.

I was hoping for moody weather and high tide when we went to visit the Mermaid of the North in #Balintore, Easter Ross, #Scotland so I could take some dramatic photos. Alas, we got neither and I only got some boring photos of it. We actually got sunshine and blue skies for most of the trip even though it was already October. The weather gods must've been really proud of themselves.
