Why compromising with MAGA on the shutdown makes no sense...
The fight is less about rising ACA costs that the GOP has to fix or lose massively in 2026 anyway, than demanding the president actually fund the programs Congress told him to. Why make another budget deal when he doesn't live up to them anyway? That's what needs to be explained to the public and fought to change.
A discussion about making lefty change in America. With the Dems or without them etc. I liked a lot of what #VivekChibber said, especially about using the Dems to break open the system to make other options more viable like #RankedChoiceVoting. But I don't see them letting that happen. #BadFaithPod
I still think we must focus on the "attention being controlled by the wealthy" problem. It's true in the mainstream but now also via corporate algos on social media.

#BriahnaJoyGray is the best voice arguing that the left must abandon the Dems. I do not agree but here she makes a ton of great points. A party that attacks us for voting 3rd party even only in races that aren't competitive isn't serious. A party that won't push a very popular issue everywhere (#Medicare4All) is clearly corrupted by their donors. But they also stumble upon the answer here.
