Characters whose hit points go below 0 die in d6 rounds, but can be healed with magic before then. Characters on 0 hit points are unconscious until they heal.

@CatDad Haven't run dX, but BESM 1-2E are good at modelling a range of powers, and at the same level it's mostly balanced (have to be careful to not make glass cannons).

But your weak human type won't have any chance against someone built with mid-high level powers, it REALLY scales up fast. Bambi vs Godzilla scaling.

The discovery today that there was a 4th edition of BESM reminded me of the fun I had with short Mecha-Anime-Inspired games. Rather than push my self to do more New Salem over the kids break, you get a week of Anime Content on ye olde Blogging machine.
