If you have a land-locked province actively seeking to leave the country, then Canada shouldn’t be offering to fast-track (and invariably pay for) pipelines to push through Canadian / First Nations lands to sell product to foreign nations.
Pretty sure most Canadians feel the same.
If they are truly interested in staying and kill this nonsense off, then let’s talk about respectable requests.
But Canada First.

If governments, especially 'progressively aligned' really wanted to do, you know, progressive action...

Tell Oil and Gas to fuck off
Sue Alberta for trying to kill public health care
Make heat pumps free
All can be paid for with a tax on Loblaws

Which won't even make them twitch

I really don't get Canada Government - postal application for our son's passport. and yeah sure we pay for the application and sending in the required documents, all in one batch - yet we get his returned docs, like government ID, birth cert, previous passport all as separate secure deliveries by courier, which costs $100s - why not send the frigging new passport WITH all the docs?

Good morning. I just found out yesterday that BC Health is experiencing problems sending out its usual email reminders to people to book their spring COVID-19 immunizations. I called 1-833-838-2323 to set up an appointment.

Old growth trees being transported on #bchwy19 near #Nanaimo this morning.

I would guess this is just one tree, likely transported by several truck loads. Looks like a western red cedar, about 200-300 years old.

They are still logging these in previously reserved areas along the Alberni Inlet (Nahmint) and on the North Island. 😢

These were in 8-10ft chunks on the truck. Not sure what their destination would be. Possibly chipoing for pulp/paper or 🤷‍♂️

A total open fire ban starts today which usually means the forests shut down.

Not sure if that is the case, as the fire danger is not extreme but any reason to stop cutting these elders would be worth it.
