Ein Jahr ohne Lorenz

Am 19. April 2026 demonstrierten in #Oldenburg rund 2000 Menschen in Gedenken an den 21-jährigen #Lorenz A., der vor einem Jahr in Oldenburg von einem #Polizisten erschossen wurde. Die Initiative „Gerechtigkeit für Lorenz“ erinnerte auch an weitere Opfer tödlicher #Polizeigewalt, Qosay #Khalaf, Ibrahima #Barry und Mouhamed Lamine #Dramé und forderten Aufklärung und Konsequenzen.

Obwohl die Anklage bereits am 5. November 2025 erfolgte, gibt es bis heute noch keinen Gerichtsprozeß gegen den Polizisten der Lorenz am 20. April 2025 mit mehreren Schüssen in den Rücken erschossen hatte. (mehr zur Vorgeschichte)

Die Begründung der Justiz: Überlastung. Für die Angehörigen und Freund*innen von Lorenz ist dieser Verzug unerträglich. In den Redebeiträgen wurde betont, dass die Verzögerung rassistische Kontinuitäten widerspiegle, ein schwarzes Leben scheint in der Priorisierung der Behörden weniger Gewicht zu haben. ​Während die Ermittlungen gegen das Opfer unzulässigerweise forciert wurden, bleibt die Hauptverhandlung gegen den Schützen aus.
