Cat plush draft V2: a stretched out and floppy girl. Not the end design but hey! It's progress!

This is my submission for #AutismAcceptanceMonth's #AutisticCreativeFestival's #InfiniTints prompts Unmasking Magenta AND AuTism Gold.

What does unmasking feel like to me? It feels like falling into all of those classic cat-like stims I internalized from the only creatures I understood as a child. Stretching, meowing, purring, sunlight naps.

Cats are, after all, very autistic animals.

It's also a followup to our #AutisticCreativeTakeover submission! The pattern on google docs can be found in the thread linked below, still in progress + being edited but perfectly usable to #crochet either of these #amigurumi plushies so far. :3

I can't WAIT to show you folks what I'm working on for the #AutisticCreativeFestival.

Gotta wait until April starts though... And gonna wait until I'm done each project.

There are two projects complete, one of them #writing... I don't have a writing centric Mastodon so I suppose that'll be one of those exception posts.

Two more in progress.

I'll also be sharing a new original #crochet pattern for free the whole month of April. Maybe I'll manage to write another one or two to also be sharing free? Though I'm thinking once April is over I'll put a price on them.

I'm just rambling. It's about time for bed and I'm excited for this year's festival and to get my first ID with the new name on it, and for some other stuff, and because someone bought one of our crochet patterns today. And this #embroidery I'm working on? Possibly the most I've impressed myself artistically... ever? I kind of want to tag someone I follow on Tumblr who does really good embroidery because her work is the only inspiration I've had for this style. Should I..? I don't know. We've never talked. >///<
