Still a little obsessed with old Java applets. I guess it's a #SpecialInterest.
Anyway, I finished reverse-engineering the data format for the METAR viewer applet this morning. Then I started thinking about some other applets I'd come across in the past, and I remembered an old LED-style scroller applet.
And I found it!

Seven years of autistic burnout and the loss of the athletic capacity I used to enjoy, and my body has finally rested enough that I can sometimes exercise without getting a migraine/collapsing in exhaustion for several days afterward. I have been rewarded with the revival of a special interest from childhood that I now have the adult agency to pursue: skating!
I have done some ice skating each winter for the past three(? or so?), which my joints liked but my sad muscles could barely hold me upright for. This year, my muscles decided to adapt to the exercise instead of punishing me for it, but the ice wasnβt reliable enough to skate as much as I wanted. Thus, the acquisition of wheels.
I am hooked. This is my new Thing. I study this Thing every day, and do the Thing as often as my body and the weather allow. Do you do this Thing? Do you do it on ice, or wheels, or both? Do you want to be friends?

Looks like the old brain is coming back online again - managed to do a mini project with minimal brain fog interference. I'm now "officially" in #AutisticBurnout, and I've been told I need to do things I enjoy, but I haven't been able to do this kind of thing since late November.
