I've been obsessed for a while with this project by Vignelli: the Audobon Field Guide Books.

because deep down I adore informative typographic design that serves the citizen, when it's designed so well that it's beautiful in its engineering rigour.

So I tried to decode the grid which I added to my archive of other grids decoded from works by Vignelli, Aicher, Brockmann etc.
