A new photo gallery is now available on my website, with pictures from the November 2019 Japanese instrument session for my album "Shifting Perspectives." It took place at the Bunker Studio in Brooklyn.

Contracted by Tomoko Akaboshi, it featured performances by Zac Zinger on Shakuhachi, Kaoru Watanabe on Shinobue, and Sumie Kaneko and Yumi Kurosawa on Kotos.

I’ve just posted a new gallery of my recording session for my last #audionetwork album, "The Spiral Staircase", on my website. This orchestra session was performed by a wonderful ensemble put together by Isobel Griffith's amazing team, and recorded at abbeyroadstudios exactly two years ago (March 2023).

Such a joy composing on my Bechstein piano! 😍 When I want to write intimate music, I lock the mute pedal down, open the hood, and remove the front panels. It gives me a direct “feed” to the really soft, warm sound coming from the hammers hitting the strings. A total emotional connection. An unfiltered inspiration. I love it. ❤️
