"I Thank You" is a song written by #DavidPorter and #IsaacHayes originally recorded by #SamAndDave, released in early 1968. The single was Sam & Dave's final release on #StaxRecords, reaching No. 9 on the #Billboard Pop singles chart and No. 4 on the #RAndB chart.
