I'm conflicted on #AstroKnights, the sequel to #AeonsEnd. It has nice fixes certain problems with its predecessor, is just sideways enough to be different, and is still early enough in its lifespan that catching up to a complete collection isn't *that* expensive yet (unlike, say, Netrunner).
All the same, it's hard to justify when I'm already ~$800 into the original, especially since it's still close enough that it feels like I'm being sold a lot of familiar pieces a second time.

Außer ich setze mich mit jemandem für ein Wochenende hin, würde ich Multiplayer immer Astro Knights statt Aeon’s End spielen.
Astro Knight funktioniert true Solo irgendwie viel besser als AE, wobei ich noch nicht ganz verstehe an was das liegt oder ob ich Aeon’s End jetzt mit weit aus mehr Erfahrung nochmal True Solo probieren muss.
Schneller Aufbau, spannender Zufall in den Decks, coole Bosse, cooles Artwork und Graphic Design. Toptitel. ❤️

Also, one game of #AstroKnights vs. Architect 0-815. That was a close one, but we won in the end.
#AstroKnights first impressions:
#AeonsEnd in space. Some minor changes to the gameplay that result in faster setup, teardown, and play itself. Similar difficulty. I expect this to get a million expansions and a legacy / campaign variant, if it's as successful as Aeon's End. Not sure you need both. Not sure yet which one I'd prefer. As of right not, Aeon's End has more content.
