Er wird als sehr schnell und leichtgewichtig beworben, hat allerdings einige Produkte der Firma #Astian, die ihn anbietet mit an Bord, die mich etwas unsicher machen... (Astian Privacy, AstianVPN und AstianGO). Mache ich mir da zu viel Gedanken? - Ich habe nur wenige aktuelle Quellen im Netz über diesen Browser gefunden:

Just wanted you to know that the #MidoriBrowser 11.5.2 has some new issues…:
• I had to delete/remove/uninstall the #Astian Privacy add-on for 2 reasons:
• If enabled, it didn't allow displaying the bookmark toolbar's bookmarks
• If I disable the add-on, it enables again by itself after #Midori's restart
• What is Ctrl+Shift+U? Seems like there's some missing texts (screenshots attached)

Касаемо приколов #Mozilla и форков #Firefox Не собирается пакет с #Midori из #AUR на #ArchLinux — https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/midori Спотыкается в самом конце. Почему-то запускает только что собранный бинарник таким образом:

~/.cache/yay/midori/src/midori-tensei/obj/dist/midori/midori http://localhost:8888/index.html -profile /tmp/tmp_56pgxgw

Замирает выполнение, в бесконечном выполнении процесса midori.

Перемудрили с чем-то, эти #Astian в чём-то.

И в конце концов, что за хрень — при сборке пакета запускать бинарник только что собранный? При том что в PKGBUILD на исходники:

Неа, такие форки нам не нужны. Стоит подумать дважды, прежде чем ставить в систему пакет с уже собранным бинарником.
