But any soldier knows that heroism is a consequence of failures.
And it's such a very good summary of so many of the dysfunctional, toxic culture of constantly surpassing yourself, firefighting, etc.
In politics, but also at work, especially in big corps and startups where it's used a lot (b/c of incompetence, control tactic, whatever).
