開始看《蘋果在中國》，對於生活中無法離開的 iPhone、Apple 的前世今生，串起諸多碎片，多了許多了解。

不過看到初代蘋果電腦的晶片版也來自家庭代工，不禁莞爾，也是我兒時在鄉間無比熟悉的時代一隅。

從〈序言〉裡，會得到一個初步架構—全球化的電子代工製造業（EMS），如何透過不同國家各自的長處和利益的交換（先進的技術、大量的勞動力、低成本帶來的規模化和產品大眾化等等），產生起來。

蘋果需要中國大量、靈活的勞動力，中國也願意以「三低」（低薪資、低福利、低人權）來交換這些更先進的技術和投資；而在中、美之間，則是負責執行的代工廠台灣富士康，來完成各種與中國（地方）政府打交道的過程。

“甚至連意圖併吞台灣、對台灣民眾毫無奉承必要的習近平也承認，中國過去四十年的改革開放，「得歸功於我們的台灣同胞與台灣企業」。根據台北的統計，1991至2022年，台灣企業對中國的總投資金額已超過2,030億美元——無論以何種標準衡量，都是龐大的數字，除非你跟蘋果比。”⋯
