this basically cuts off all trans scholars from being in the U.S.

a new U.S. State Department rule stipulates that all visa applicants must disclose their “biological sex at birth” - & it will also collect passport information that it knows will not match a trans person’s biological sex at birth. this move is creating grounds to deny/strip visas & deport trans people on the basis of “fraud”

last time i tried to give blood, i was treated as a woman. this despite me being solidly nonbinary with my current gender expression being solidly masculine. also, i have zero female reproductive organs! and i was also assumed to have possibly been pregnant at some time in the past even though i would have died rather than be pregnant and acted accordingly 🖕🏻
