Anyway, any and all company owned AI (Generative Tech) and data centers as they exist currently are inherently unethical on the basis of all of the stolen data that their training sets consists off.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe we live in a world that actually believes in justice- I wish we did, I really wish we did.
It’s only ever paid lip service to it and has used the veneer of justice to only meet out punishment to the already disenfranchised while it lets those who already have power off with a slap on the wrist- this also is authoritarianism imho.

LLM’s are trained on stolen art, every single one. Generative Tech (AI) is trained on stolen artwork, writing, voice, etc… Every single one of them. For that reason alone, you cannot engage with it ethically.
We need laws that acknowledge this as theft and sue the hell out of every single company that owns an LLM or a Generative Tech machine for large scale thievery and damages to the livelihoods of real humans artists. This is what should happen.
Start calling 'AI' what it actually is. Generative Technology. You can call it something else as a shorthand like Generative Tech or Gen Tech or even GT if you like, but stop calling it AI.

not going to deny that it's horrifying that ai is becoming more and more advanced but it's really fucking annoying and disheartening that people are already going "we're so cooked we're getting replaced whats the point", and I'm already seeing people give up their dreams on being animators/artists and quit art/animation altogether in response to this sora 2 bullshit.
and i'm like… fucking really? are you guys SERIOUSLY going to give up and lay down and die just like that? come the fuck on. where's your fucking fight. where's your fucking rage? where's your fucking spite?
instead of the fucking doom and gloom, here's a better suggestion? just keep fucking drawing. keep fucking animating. do it out of spite. do it angry. what fucking ever. hell while you're at it, fucking call your politicians, sign petitions, start pushing ai regulations. if you're so (understandably) so upset about this, maybe actually fucking do something about it instead of giving up on everything.
