Comparing to the other #anime this season which is about a guy who plays a videogame that I already started, #aPlaythroughOfACertainDudesVRMMOLife is certainly not ambitious, but as a relaxing show to watch after work (or before going to bed with work the next day) it feels just right.
Having a character who’s got a regular job and just spends time in the game to wind down is way more relatable to me than the hardcore gamer who seeks out trash games.
If I don’t find any better feelgood show this season I guess I’ll keep watching it.

I find it difficult to say something about the #RonKamonohashi #anime because I’m reading the manga. The adaptation has a good quality and I like the quirkiness of Ron paired with the innocence of Toto very much which is why I’m still reading the manga. I’m looking forward to the more complex cases and other characters.
To be honest I had already forgotten the details of the first case and it was a clever one, although it seems really a bit fast for Ron to figure out all the details.

Not a lot of anime that have jumped out at me so far from trailers and promotional material, so not a long list so far

Definitely watching #Frieren only had time to watch 1st EP so far but honestly depending on how the series progresses might get a spot in my top 10 anime

Besides that defintely watching #DrStone New World Part 2. Really excited about that one since it left off on a bit of a cliff hanger.

Also, #heavenofficialsblessing Season 2. Still can't believe that that one's in this season

Finally, #iminlovewiththevillainess I've really liked the otome isekai lately so seeing a yuri one is really exciting!

We watched the first episode of #Frieren and it‘s really something different. That calm atmosphere and the depiction of how time mercilessly passes are really heartfelt. Skipping through time in those big jumps also helps to get the viewer to take Frieren‘s perspective. I hope the pacing won’t suddenly become more hectic.
If there’s anything I can’t quite digest it’s the use of German words for names. They are not badly chosen, but words that are so common that I can’t really associate them with names. Especially since we watch with German subs 😅

First show from #animeFall2023 I watched was #ShangriLaFrontier (first episode) and I could definitely have done worse.
Still, since I’m not personally a gamer, I can’t really relate to the MC.
I’m still waiting for something interesting here beyond that guy being quite happy about the good quality and leveling quickly. Just nice animation (and I admit it’s very nice) is not going to keep me invested. I’m also dreading a running gag of that girl never managing to actually talk to him or something like that.
