Sights around Vancouver, BC 🇨🇦….so breathtaking and beautiful. Glad to cross it off my bucket list. #AniRevo

One of my regrets about #AniRevo and visiting Vancouver, BC 🇨🇦 was not getting out and exploring more of the city, more of downtown, Stanley Park, etc. I pretty much stayed in the vicinity of Canada Place & the Convention Centre most of the time. I did take a nice walk along the waterfront but only made it about halfway to Stanley Park before turning around and going back. I did find a brick and mortar Japadog restaurant on Sunday and only found out when I was home that I was only 2 blocks from the central Vancouver Public Library! Grr! Should've walked over and gone inside, or at least taken pictures of the outside. Missed opportunity. The subway was great but I should've been braver about riding the busses.

Looking at the Facebook group for #Animethon in Edmonton, AB 🇨🇦 and it looks like a really warm & welcoming community. Lots more people making posts after the event than the social group for #AniRevo which definitely feels more impersonal and individualistic.

I'm enjoying repurposing my #AniRevo lanyard as my workplace lanyard for my Library ID. Love the big thick ribbon they used this year, more substantial than the #AnimeToronto lanyard I'd been using up until now.

Sidebar, while I got positive comments about my ADV Films shirt at #Otafest 2023 in Calgary, AB 🇨🇦 , absolutely nobody noticed it at #AniRevo or had any remarks whatsoever. Disappointing.
