Wrote up an outline for how I did my "Make your own mini-doujinshi" workshop for Otafest . Would be great to see people bringing these skills to other cons! I will also be presenting a similar workshop at CitrusCon (June 20-22, online, free), so mark your calendars.

Sorry, no Raid the Arcade stream tonight. I'll be volunteering at the #ExtraLife Calgary Guild's table at #Otafest all weekend. Not only do I have to pack up my #Evercade VS, but I must get into character as my OC, Mr. Arcade.

I very much enjoyed #AnimeToronto and would like to go back in the future, though probably not next year as I plan to attend #AniRevo out in BC 🇨🇦 but when I do attend #AnimeToronto again I hope I can take a day off from the convention to make my way out to Niagra Falls. Likewise if I return to #Otafest, I'll take time out to hit up Banff for a day. The older I get, the more I appreciate the natural beauty of places.

2025 is a long way away and there are smaller (mid-size for 🇨🇦 ?) cons like #AiCon in Winnipeg, Manitoba and #GanbatteCon in Saskatoon that I'd almost rather hit before returning to #Otafest too. They're just a bit of a pain to actually get to from where I live in 🇺🇸 in a single day and the host cities only have busses as their main public transportation to get around in which is a bummer.

Maintaining optimism I'll make it to #Animeton 🇨🇦 in 2025 for sure. Hell, I might do a two-fer and hit #Otafest and #Animethon in the same year that year. 🇨🇦 Double Alberta Dose.
