I'm enjoying repurposing my #AniRevo lanyard as my workplace lanyard for my Library ID. Love the big thick ribbon they used this year, more substantial than the #AnimeToronto lanyard I'd been using up until now.

It will probably be awhile before I attend Toronto's 🇨🇦 largest anime con, #AnimeNorth mainly because I don't like where the venue is located, namely on the edge of town near the main airport, out by Mississauga. There's not much else to see or do out that way and you have to go out of your way to see the rest of Toronto, unlike #AnimeToronto which is right in the heart of downtown and my preferred con despite its smaller size and newness as a rebranded anime con...was Int'l Fan Fest (IFF).

I very much enjoyed #AnimeToronto and would like to go back in the future, though probably not next year as I plan to attend #AniRevo out in BC 🇨🇦 but when I do attend #AnimeToronto again I hope I can take a day off from the convention to make my way out to Niagra Falls. Likewise if I return to #Otafest, I'll take time out to hit up Banff for a day. The older I get, the more I appreciate the natural beauty of places.

I also brought my 🇨🇦 Toronto "Presto" card back with me as a souvenir. And I'll take it back with me my next trip, whenever that may be someday. Still lukewarm on Anime North despite its size and popularity. I'm glad I held out for #AnimeToronto instead.

I noticed that Torontonians were a bit more mask-y 😷 than Calgarians but the masked contingent was a minority of folks, though nearly all the hotel staff and public facing workers still masked up. Definitely way more masked con goers at #AnimeToronto than at #Otafest this year. 🇨🇦

I broke down and bought several @nanoblock_official packs from @oomomoontario and @mypops.ca this weekend at #AnimeToronto .
The #SpyFamily blind packs had enough spare blocks I could built both versions of #LoidForger and #YorForger. I also pulled #BeckyBlackbell in another pack. (No Anya)
The Oomomo kits were #Eevee and #Shiba-inu and the mini pad which sorta helps assembling these tiny figs. Got the bonus bonsai tree.
