I am convinced after each year of barely maintaining basic necessities ( food, water, shelter, warmth, health care, the means to operate etc) at the end of each year, as a freelancer in this country, the German tax office enforced by government officials take what little is left 😥 and after almost a decade of living here, still no permanent residency to show for... Why do I still live here? Oh yeah, I'm linked to my community (German and auslander) whom also struggle grotesquely with these very aspects... Its like any government assistance during the pandemic of 2020/21 is wildly dwarfed by the tax bills and improvised inflation we face now. The more you make the more (unreasonably) they take and I'm still kept from voting on that.

Last night I had two back to back nighttime dreams...
1st: of men I've dated that were completely goal driven to get physical and mental affections from me,( it's been more often than not.) For some reason I was wearing a tattered pajama ...and them; the lower half a bear costume ( dreams are funny sometimes 🥲)
2nd: I was interviewing a serial killer, he was explaining his methods to me before baiting his victims, with example of a beautiful blonde woman entering a small pool he was preparing.
Conclusion: I thought how similar the two situations were and that when someone exits your life after obtaining such affections: your favor, physical affections... A sort of mental killing happens. So I wondered if the current state of Patriarchy we all live in is also directly linked to the rise of Narcassim, Physcopathy and Sociopathy that is coaxed on in current and past hierarchy based cultures.
Moral: people and women for that matter are not wishing wells to be drawn from at will. Though it is very much the thought of narcs, socio & psychopaths to do so, since they do not have a direct link to source, self regulation is something they don't possess. Praising such tendencies makes for a sick world and as @gabormatemd has said; 'women are assigned to be the shock absorbers' under such regimes.
Ps. I do most of my deep thinking when I am dreaming and after I wake up.
