Join our die-in coming Tuesday at 18:45, to remind (possible future) students at the UvA of the university’s complicity in the ethic cleansing and occupation of Palestine. Through this action, we will let those interested in doing their masters at the UvA know what kind of university they are applying to.

We demand an immediate end to all ties with ‘Israeli’ institutions. Let’s show the UvA we will not stop until ALL of them are cut. THEIR HANDS ARE BLOODY TOO!

(nederlands hieronder) ----- 📢 MOBILISE TO AMSTERDAM! ⚒️ Unionize the Intifada 📍 Roeterseilandcampus, Amsterdam ⏱️ Thursday 12 December - 12:30 📋 The programme will start with a silent sit-in @REC-ABC, and after a short introduction at 13:00, we will march to the Maagdenhuis, where the speaker programme will be held. This week, we will halt working to defend our right to protest at the University of Amsterdam and to demand an end to the university’s complicity in genocide through its collaborations with Israeli institutions. Join us in solidarity to hold the university accountable, and show the CvB that we will be back if our demands are not met. With a 4-day strike as just the first step on the escalation ladder, we advise the UvA to reconsider it's commitment to genocidal Israel. This is the beginning of a broader struggle for democratisation of Dutch universities and an end to Dutch complicity in imperialist violence. Let us all come to Roeterseiland on December 12th to raise our collective voice and show the bureaucrats that organised workers and students will not be silenced. Join the union and organise your colleagues - we will skip and scrap as many classes as it takes for the CvB's to learn their lesson. ----- Deze week staken we om ons recht op protest te verdedigen aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam en om te eisen dat er een einde komt aan de medeplichtigheid van de Universiteit aan genocide door haar samenwerking met Israëlische instellingen. Wees solidair met ons, roep de universiteit ter verantwoording, en laat het CvB zien dat we terugkomen als onze eisen niet worden ingewilligd. Met een 4-daagse staking als slechts de eerste stap op de escalatieladder, zou het verstandig zijn als de UvA haar toewijding aan het genocidale Israëlische regime heroverweegt. Dit is het begin van een bredere strijd voor democratisering van Nederlandse universiteiten en een einde aan Nederlandse medeplichtigheid aan imperialistisch geweld. Laten we op 12 december allemaal naar Roeterseiland komen om onze collectieve stem te verheffen en de bureaucraten te laten zien dat georganiseerde arbeiders en studenten zich niet het zwijgen laten opleggen.
