I was saddened to hear about the unexpected death by heart attack last week of the cultishly loved Chicago writer and professor #DonDeGrazia, most famously the author of #AmericanSkin. Back in the 2010s, Don was kind enough to write an introduction to a "city all-star" student anthology my old small press published (featuring works from a dozen different colleges around Chicago), and he couldn't have been nicer or more gracious about it. RIP to a truly great person, taken from us too soon.
