Well, this Mobo + #AM386 CPU combo survived all the benchmarks I threw at it, and all the checks in CheckIt. It has never shown any sign of instability even after leaving it on continuous mem testing for hours.
This means that:
A) this mobo is #repaired
B) I can release my QFP->PGA adapter for 386DX as it seems stable at 40Mhz
Barring unexpected issues (which have been disturbingly common in the last month), tomorrow I'll work on the repo to make it presentable, then release it.

The #AM386 i soldered in my #QFP to #PGA socket seems fine, and also this #repaired motherboard is giving good signs of life!

Soldered an #AM386 DX-40 to my adapter board.
Insertion of this module works quite well on a standard #PGA socket, but it's a bit too hard for my tastes to insert in a socket homemade with the same pins used to create the "legs" to this module. I'll search for other pins to build PGA sockets.

Still, good enough for testing. Pity I have no idea of the state of this CPU... we'll see if I get POST codes when I put this in a motherboard.

Ob man da noch ein #debian ans laufen bekommt? Kernel muss ich eh noch für den #486 bauen...
Aber 8MB sind wirklich sehr, sehr wenig.
