I blame the W3C for allowing the open internet to hide behind paywalls. cookie walls, DRM (Digital Rights Management) and unlimited surveillance. Maybe we need a better web, based on the lessons learned from what went wrong. #AlwaysTheOptimist

I see a new phase of global trade coming. While Trump is randomising tariffs based on whatever bowel movement, the rest of the world can decide to just shrug and focus on net new trade with countries that so far did not really have a seat at the table. China has been working on that already since many years, by moving into the global south. Maybe now we western countries minus the US can get our act together? #AlwaysTheOptimist
