Yay! Made it to Osaka University. Got off a bus stop before the when I saw where we were on the map. Took a short cut through a lovely botanical garden (almost everything was labelled!), stopped to smell the roses (always stop to smell the roses!)

Oh I was able to get to hotel 1.3 km walk from station and drop off bag. Walking now to today's main destination. No sense waiting for train after 1.5 km walk to go one station and then take the cable car (another 900 m.away). Just walking!
Uphill but uplifting views.

Can we please stop the whole all or nothing #AltTxt conversation. There is a reason why the hash #AltTxt4Me exists. There are people with disabilities that cannot reasonably do alt text. Its not fair to shortchange one type of #disabililty for another. All disabilities are valid. If your a big account tooting about AltText, you need to be adding this nuance because its not well enough known.

@adhdeanasl i don't think your last paragraph is fair. frankly, its ableist. i completely agree with every other bit of your message. i think it would have been better to suggest that they use the hashtag #AltTxt4Me. there are legitimately people who have disabilities that alt text makes this place significantly less accessible, and its not fair to place one disability at the expense of the others.
