DasCleaned up and even got a jacket for this 2 day trip my univ wanted me to take (includes a nice dinner with some alumni). But seems like a scorcher here in San Diego - temps will hit 82 ⁰F almost 28 ⁰C 😳
Forgot to share this yesterday, but I submitted the second round of revisions to my in progress paper. Yay!
Also, I realized this morning I left in some rather pointed comments in response to that critical review. I am curious if the editor will say anything? Probably not, but we’ll see. Personally I would love to have a real conversation with that critical reviewer (never gonna happen). I have a lot I would say to them.
Getzler Lab at KenyonCollegeNot groundbreaking, but the work in this paper enabled the interesting polymer degradation studies my students & I are doing now. As you can see from the author list, many many people contributed over the years. I count 6 who have finished or are pursuing PhDs plus others involved in other areas of science. Reviews received at 6:10pm. Second round of revisions mostly done by 9:30pm. I won't submit them tonight, but this week. Amazingly, all the parts I was worried about? No critique at all. I guess it was ok! Maybe. We'll see if the editor likes this new revision. At least I am hopeful it will not go out for a 3rd round of reviews.
