Google Search is turning into complete crap. Hear me out.
So I hear that Bill Ackman is going to sue because someone laid out the evidence in Business Insider as to his wife's plagiarism. His wife's name is Neri Oxman.
Ackman's lawsuit is without merit. @Popehat can explain it to you better than I can. Here's the podcast where I learned about it:

I was curious as to the original article laying out the evidence for plagiarism. I decide to go to Google and I plug in this term:
neri oxman "business insider"
Business Insider is not among the results I get. I do get stuff from other news outlet, but the results are miles away from the original article.
I gave Google the news outlet's name in quotes. Why can't it find what I want? Did Business Insider not pay the Google Mafia the money that this mafia asked for??? WTF is going on here?
I go to DuckDuckGo, put in the same results, and blammo! I get results from Business Insider. I get what I want.
I've got screenshots below showing you what I got from both sources.
This is not the first time Google Search shits the bed. Last week, I was wondering about the *history* of a fashion item that is still being sold. I put in the term and Google decides that I want to buy the item. I wanted something like a Wikipedia article about the item. I did not want to buy it. It would be merely annoying if I had the option to do a regular search and not a shopping search, but that option was nowhere. DuckDuckGo came to the rescue.
So, here's my solution. Going forward, I'm switching my default search engine to DuckDuckGo.
I'm fucking tired of Google's enshittification.
