I loved it!

With the looming death of physical media, I will miss all the extras that came with those media and all other documentaries.

Between this, the movie extras and other documentaries, I have hundreds of clips and specials about the alien universe!

Did you know: Colette Hiller, who played dropship pilot Corporal Ferro in Aliens (1986), these days writes children's books and makes music for kids.

#AliensExpanded has almost everything an Aliens fan would need. 
The only thing I would have liked more about was the guns used in the film and especially how they created the iconic sound of the pulse riffle. I hope they do #alien3 after #TheThing 🙂 @Eg0nJN @nikolajfj @LaserdiscTurtle @UKFilmNerd #alien #cinemastodon #movies

I backed #AliensExpanded and I am very satisfied with the end result. It is great thorough deep dive on all things Aliens. 
Surprisingly it manages to uncover new aspects of the film that haven’t been covered before. The story of the tea lady goes hard! I also really liked the touching segment about Bill Paxton.

Okay, some initial impressions on the #AliensExpanded #documentary. I managed to watch 2½ hours of it today. It's wild that I have another 2 hours ahead of me.

The production quality is excellent, the interview sequences look amazing. It also features lots and lots of footage not only from #Aliens, but also the original #Alien, other movies in the franchise, and even completely different movies altogether when it makes sense, to add context, e.g. sequences from Terminator or Apocalypse Now.

The digital version of the #AliensExpanded #documentary is 4 hours 42 minutes long, [email protected] H.265, 48 kHz stereo AAC. It's a 15 GB file.

The subtitles (English & Spanish, dialog only) are in SRT format.

The Digital Extras are 746 MB zipped and contain the soundtrack (FLAC & MP3), score (MP3), a poster in 4962×7017, two wallpapers in 3840×2160 and two in 2160×3840 as well as a booklet, thank you letter and some promotion for the upcoming "The Thing Expanded" documentary.
