A urne ancora aperte c’è un primo dato molto particolare che arriva dal Veneto. Alle 23 il voto per il referendum “batte” quello per i deputati. In 126 comuni di Rovigo e Padova si vota infatti anche per le suppletive alla Camera nel collegio uninominale 2-01, che comprende l’intera provincia di Rovigo e 35 comuni di Padova, e e nel collegio 2-02, che comprende 41 comuni padovani. Si vota per eleggere due deputati per riempire i posti lasciati liberi dal presidente della Regione Alberto Stefani e dal suo assessore Massimo Bitonci. E domenica sera, in questi comuni, l’affluenza è stata più alta per il quesito sulla riforma costituzionale, con uno scarto medio di oltre sei punti. Un dato che fa presupporre che molti veneti si sono recati ai seggi senza ritirare la scheda elettorale per le suppletive.
Guardando l’affluenza nei centri principali, emerge come nel capoluogo polesano la partecipazione al quesito referendario alle 23 sia arrivata al 49,85% contro il 45,58% delle suppletive. Ad Adria (Rovigo) vota per il referendum il 47,76% degli elettori contro il 42,42% alle suppletive. Nel Padovano, a Selvazzano Dentro vota il 55,51% contro il 52,12% delle suppletive. I candidati nel collegio rodigino sono il tesoriere della Lega Alberto Di Rubba, Giacomo Bovolenta di Italia Viva per il centrosinistra (senza M5s) e Giuseppe Padoan di Italia Resiste Libera. Nell’altro collegio sono in corsa Giulio Centenaro (Lega) per il centrodestra, Antonino Stivanello per Pd, Iv e Avs, Andrea Paccagnella (Ora) e Mario Adinolfi del Popolo della Famiglia.

In the Paduan area, in Selvazzano Dentro, 55.51% voted compared to 52.12% for the supplementary votes. The candidates in the Rovigo constituency are Lega treasurer Alberto Di Rubba, Giacomo Bovolenta of Italia Viva for the center-left (without M5s) and Giuseppe Padoan of Italia Resiste Libera.
