Alatar – Magick for Muthas
(Eine erste Annäherung)

Die verhallte Stimme des Sängers Gordon Overkill fand ich zunächst gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber beim zweiten Song des Albums catchte mich die Band.
Zusammen mit Tobias Stork (G) und Kristian Tamm (D) dampfte Gordon einen geilen traditionellen Heavy Metal in die Rillen des Vinyls (oder auf die glatte Fläche der Disk). Mit Energie und heißem Herzen ziehen die Jungs einen zurück in die 80er. Wie schön ist das denn.
Schwere Empfehlung, ihr Metalheads.

Die Features muss ich alle erst mal erkunden. Aber ich fand es gerade schon krass, nacheinander hier reinzuschauen und dann bei Facebook, wo mein kompletter Feed nur nerviger Müll ist. 😅
Wir werden hier die Tage auf jeden Fall auch ne #Alatar Seite einrichten und ich bin sogar fast in Versuchung, auch eine für #AtomSmasher zu machen, die ja bisher überhaupt nicht offiziell im Internet existieren. Wobei ich darüber noch mal ein paar Nächte schlafen werde. 😂

Just finished watching the first two episodes of #LordOfTheRings: #TheRingsOfPower.
Quite enjoyable so far, though it feels like they are taking quite some liberties with the source material? Then again, I can't say I've read much of it myself.

Most of the discussion I've so far seen seems to suggest that #TheStranger is #Radagast (because of his interactions with the fireflies) or, more likely, #Gandalf (because of his association with fire), but perhaps it's one of the #BlueWizards, #Alatar or #Pallando, the #Istari we know so little about? Then again, I guess they would've arrived together.
