L'Unità: Aggredito dal branco per 50 euro, condannato a 20 anni l’accoltellatore di Davide Simone Cavallo: “Si sono scusati”

Aveva scritto in una lettera pubblicata pochi giorni fa che “quando ho saputo della loro età, a parte l’incredulità, mi si è fatto pesante il cuore: mi dispiace per ogni giorno che passano in galera, mi dispiace davvero. Sono troppo giovani per non vivere il mondo. E nonostante questo, lo ero anch’io. Persino adesso, possono usare le proprie gambe, sentirle attaccate al corpo, fare sport. Non è scontato. Ormai lo so”.
Davide Simone Cavallo ha abbracciato i ragazzi accusati dell’aggressione, prima della camera di consiglio e in attesa del verdetto, ci ha parlato. È stato condannato ieri a 20 anni il ragazzo che lo aveva accoltellato per 50 euro in Corso Como, a Milano, lo scorso ottobre. Si chiama Alessandro Chiani, ha appena compiuto 19 anni. Era accusato per tentato omicidio e rapina pluriaggravata, la pena è stata diminuita di dieci anni per il rito abbreviato. 500mila euro di provvisionale alla vittima e 50mila a ciascuno dei genitori e al fratello.
È stato rimesso in libertà invece Ahmed Atia, 18 anni, assolto dalla rapina ma condannato per la meno grave omissione di soccorso a dieci mesi e 20 giorni con risarcimento da liquidare in sede civile. Dalle immagini delle telecamere di videosorveglianza non era emerso alcun ruolo nel pestaggio, in un primo momento si era ipotizzato avesse fatto da palo. Cinque i ragazzi del branco che erano stati arrestati, tre erano minorenni, 17enni che andranno a processo il prossimo luglio.
Secondo la ricostruzione dell’inchiesta coordinata dal pm Zanoncelli e delegata alla Squadra Mobile della Polizia, l’aggressione del branco si è consumata intorno alle tre di notte: il branco ha circondato il 22enne studente dell’Università Bocconi per rapinarlo. Cavallo è stato accoltellato e pestato, preso a calci mentre era a terra. Le motivazioni della sentenza saranno diffuse in 30 giorni. Atia ha consegnato a Cavallo una lunga lettera scritta a mano. “Sto soffrendo anch’io per i sei mesi di carcere, ma non è nulla rispetto a quello che state provando tu e i tuoi familiari e amici”. Ha scritto di non sapere che l’amico aveva un coltello. “Mi dispiace perché ho visto e non ho fatto nulla”. Si sono scusati nel momento di confronto di persona con Cavallo.

Davide Simone Cavallo embraced the young men accused of the assault, before the hearing and awaiting the verdict, he spoke to them. He was sentenced yesterday to 20 years for the boy who stabbed him for 50 euros on Corso Como, Milan, last October. His name is Alessandro Chiani, he just turned 19. He was accused of attempted murder and aggravated robbery, the sentence was reduced by ten years for the abbreviated procedure. 500,000 euros in compensation to the victim and 50,000 to each of the parents and brother.

Ahmed Atia, 18 years old, was released on acquittal of the robbery but sentenced to ten months and 20 days for the less serious act of failing to provide assistance, with compensation to be determined in civil court. Surveillance footage did not show any role in the beating, and initially it was hypothesized that he had acted as a lookout. Five of the gang members were arrested, three were minors, 17-year-olds who will go to trial next July.

According to the reconstruction of the investigation coordinated by prosecutor Zanoncelli and delegated to the Mobile Squad of the Police, the assault by the gang took place around 3 a.m.: the gang surrounded the 22-year-old student of Bocconi University to rob him. Cavallo was stabbed and beaten, kicked while he was on the ground. The reasons for the sentence will be made public in 30 days. Atia handed Cavallo a long handwritten letter. “I am suffering too for the six months in prison, but it is nothing compared to what you are experiencing you and your family and friends.” He wrote that he did not know the friend had a knife. “I’m sorry because I saw and did nothing.” They apologized during the personal confrontation with Cavallo.

Agi: Studente accoltellato a Milano, l'aggressore condannato a 20 anni. Davide abbraccia i due imputati

AGI -  Condanna a 20 anni di carcere per Alessandro Chiani, nel processo a Milano per il tentato omicidio e la rapina ai danni di Davide Cavallo, il  22enne studente della Bocconi, vittima del brutale pestaggio avvenuto il 12 ottobre scorso, nella zona di Corso Como all’esterno di una discoteca del capoluogo lombardo.
Le sentenza del gup di Milano 
La vittima a causa delle coltellate subite ha riportato una lesione permanente. La sentenza è stata emessa con il rito abbreviato dal gup di Milano Alberto Carboni. Chiani, 19 anni, è considerato l’esecutore materiale del pestaggio. Con lui è coimputato, Ahmed Atia ritenuto il ‘palo’: il 18enne è stato condannato a 10 mesi e 20 giorni per omissione di soccorso. La Procura aveva chiesto 12 anni (per Chiani) e 10 anni (per Atia).

Prima della Camera di Consiglio nell’aula di giustizia a Milano, Davide Cavallo ha abbracciato i due imputati. Poi i tre ragazzi hanno parlato per qualche minuto.
La provvisionale decisa del giudice di Milano 
Il giudice di Milano ha riconosciuto una provvisionale di risarcimento di mezzo milione di euro per Davide Cavallo e di 50 mila euro ciascuno per i genitori e il fratello minore.
La dinamica dell'aggressione del 12 ottobre 2025 
Stando alle indagini del pm di Milano Andrea Zanoncelli condotte dai poliziotti del commissariato Garibaldi-Venezia i due maggiorenni  e altri 3 amici minorenni la sera del 12 ottobre 2025 in viale Montegrappa a Milano avrebbero aggredito Cavallo con calci, pugni e un coltello dopo che quest'ultimo li aveva raggiunti nel tentativo di recuperare i 50 euro che gli erano stati appena rubati. 
L'avvocato: "La vittoria di Davide è stato l'abbraccio con gli imputati" 
"Se posso essere schietto non era quasi dispiaciuto, Davide era dispiaciuto. La vittoria di oggi di Davide è stata l'abbraccio” con gli aggressori “l'ha detto, ma non come vittoria, ma che il piacere di ritrovare due persone a cui lui non aveva motivo, anche se in parte da difensore dei genitori, papà, lo capisco con difficoltà, ma Davide non aveva, lui, motivo di vendetta nei loro confronti". Sono le parole  dell'avvocato Luca Degani, che assiste la famiglia del giovane aggredito.
