Stewart X AddisonIf there is anyone out there still using the old #AdoptOpenJDK RPM/DEB (yum/apt) package repositories, please switch over to the #Adoptium #Temurin ones, as the AdoptOpenJDK ones are horribly out of date and will have multiple security issues. Your configuration files should have `packages.adoptium.net` in them.

Red Hat is (was?) supporting both, IcedTea-Web was donated to AdoptOpenJDK and #IcedTea hasn't released anything after JDK 8, but I can't find an official statement on the matter.
Or is it the case that OpenJDK upstream after 8 is officially buildable using only Free tools, so IcedTea no longer serves a purpose and Adoptium serves a different purpose (offical certification)?
