Open Assembly Anti-Gas Action Camp

It’s 2024, the climate crisis rages on and we urgently need to phase out gas, not expand it. On Sunday April 14, we are organizing an OPEN ASSEMBLY to discuss the organization of an action camp against gas at the end of summer in Rotterdam. Together we can block & disrupt the buildout of new gas infrastructure! 🎯🎯 GOALS: The goal of the Open Assembly is to create a structure of working groups so we can make the camp a reality. 📢📢 PROGRAM: 10.30 - 11.00 Arrival, coffee, tea 11.00 START 11.00 - 11.30 Introduction to the day & Framework 11.30 - 12.30 Farmersmarkt (introduction to the working groups) 12.30 - 13.30 Lunch 13.30 - 15.00 Pick a working group and brainstorm 15.00 - 15.15 Short break 15.15 - 16.00 Report back of working groups 16.00 - 16.45 Decide a name for the action camp 16.45 - 17.00 Next steps 17.00 END (this may change) 👩🏽‍🎤👨‍🎤 PARTICIPATION: We welcome everyone that has affinity with direct action, organizing, hates (neo)colonialism and the destructive impacts of gas on people and the climate.
