This is about hearing loss not vision, but:

A couple years ago, HBO Max ran a Batman "radio drama." The visual was static: old-time radio and background.

And they had closed captions to accommodate hearing impairment.

So far, so good.

But the captions didn't note who was speaking.

Typically in my experience, CCs usually don't tag the speaker if you can see the speaker's mouth moving, but do otherwise.

So these CCs help the hearing-impaired if and only if the person with impaired hearing could recognize the voices with no visual cues.

I made it about 20 minutes.

They came so close...

How many accessibility issues can Openreach cause?

- Sign with very small writing at the top of very steep bank over 1 metre tall. I had to scramble up this to read the sign
- The sign uses smudged light orange on white print to describe what the planning advice notice is for.

Also the QR code doesn't open to a copy of the notice, but to their planning feedback form.
